Programs At The Lab

Grow & Play: Therapeutic Afterschool Program

Times: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Monday–Friday

• Grow & Play uses game-based and project-based learning to help students strengthen social-emotional skills, executive functioning, and adaptive behaviors in a structured, therapeutic environment.

Connect & Play – SEL Program for Students with Developmental Disabilities

Times: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM & 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM, Monday–Friday

• Connect & Play uses gaming and technology to build friendships, strengthen social-emotional skills, and foster community engagement for youth with developmental disabilities. By blending the positive aspects of gaming and team-based activities, participants develop life skills such as communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking. The program also integrates wellness education—covering posture, nutrition, and physical activity—reinforcing that a healthy body supports a healthy mind and strong gameplay.

Learn, Earn & Play – Workforce Development Program

Times: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 4pm-7pm Monday–Friday

• Learn, Earn & Play is a hands-on workforce development program using game-based and project-based learning to build career readiness, vocational skills, and personal development.
